In my last year, I have had many amazing experiences here in the US.
I. New Education: Conducting
When I visited the Juilliard library for the first time I was upset.
I was so sorry I had never before seen this many books and music scores!
The vast music scores I could simply pick up and study.
I really wanted to go back to being 10 just to have more time for this library.
I realized that the environment for learning is really important.
Learning conducting with maestro Vincent La Salva at Juilliard.
My favorite piece so far was Brahms Symphony no.1
Once I started learning it, my feelings changed to be more sensitive.
II. New Challenges: Fashion Modeling & Trapeze Arts
I had always wanted to be a model.
I was so excited to be invited to participate in a fashion show.
Because of this experience and some close friends, I became interested in Cultural Diplomacy
III. New Interest Areas: The UN & Blouin Artinfo
Blouin Creative Leadership Summit 2013.
I was glad to meet many smart and creative people.
With the assitaince of the Blouin staff, the guest speakers, including MIT media lab speakers,
at the Blouin Summit I learned many ideas and different ways to see concepts.
I attended a UN Peacekeeping event educating how to challenging it is to make a better,
safer world, including cultural diplomacy.
IV. Cultural and Arts Travel
In 2012, I enjoyed many diverse events.
But especially after one party I felt the wide gap between the rich and poor.
I traveled to many cities with the main aim toward Arts & Education.
V. My Fun Performing: Orchestra Member & Street Playing
Piano, Seton Hall University Orchestra Spring Concert (2013)
In South Orange, NJ was an art exhibition of many pianos spread around town.
It was so much fun going from one to the next to see which one was better
and make people smile with my playing.
VI. New Friendships
Most of my friends are internationals from all over the world.
I learned many new, wonderful things from them.
We have fun times: Studying, exercising, traveling, volunteering, discussing,
sharing about our cultures, attending events.
